The artist for the month of December is Grandma Moses (1960-1961).
Many of Grandma Moses's paintings have been used to celebrate special American holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Mother's Day. In honor of Grandma Moses, we will be using a "celebrations" theme to create folk inspired artwork to share with our families this holiday season!
